The golden ratio is a visually pleasing ratio that appears in nature and is derived from the fibonacci sequence

Flower petals, some sea shells, and even octopus tentacles show the fibonacci sequence, specifically the golden spiral

The fibonacci sequence is where you just add the current and previous numbers to get the next number, starting with 1.

Phi is the ratio of the fibonacci sequence. It is irrational and is usually rounded to 1.618

It is a greek letter and looks like φ

There isn't that much else to phi related to this project, it is more of just a terminology thing
